This video essay from The Nerdwriter does a lovely job of drawing attention to the amazing, intentional creativity Ansel Adams brought to his photography, developing processes and tools that would help him masterfully capture what he visualized in each image. I shared this video with a few friends on Facebook not too long ago and thought it was worth posting here for anyone who hasn’t seen it yet – it’s a sharp, well-produced video, which I think really captures Adams’ spirit and genius in a unique way!
“The whole key lies very specifically in seeing into the mind’s eye, which we call visualization.” ~Ansel Adams
